Makes about 25 Pieces. Serves Approx 8-10 Adults
Rice (54%), Black gram dal, Semolina, Sugar, Refined wheat flour, Edible vegetable fat, Raising agent 500(ii), Acidity regulator (INS 296), Salt, Asafoetida.
Mix 1 measure of MTR Dhokla mix with 3 tbsp cooking oil, 1/4 measure curd and 1 measure water to form a smooth batter.
Grease 2 baking trays /plates with a little oil and pour equal quantities of batter into each (so as to obtain required thickness and proper puffing of the dhoklas).
On this poured batter, sprinkle Cumin powder and Red chilli powder or Black pepper powder.
Steam the batter on high flame for about 15 minutes.
Use microwave oven and steam the batter for 6 minutes using a microwave safe vessel.
Cut into cubes and serve.
‘Measure’ means a cup or container of your choice.
Serve with Pudina (mint) chutney or tamarind chutney
