Gits Gulab Jamun Mix 500g. Makes 100 Gulab jamun 20g Each post soaking in sugar syrup.
Wheat Flour, Skimmed milk powder, Baker Shortening, Sodium bicarbonate, Citric acid & Permitted antioxidants E320.
1)Add, in parts 250 -300ml (Approx 1.5 to 2 cups) water / Milk to the gulab jamun mix. Knead gently into soft and smooth dough.
2) Apply ghee or oil on both the palms and then shape 100 round and smooth jamuns without cracks from the dough.
3) Deep fry in Ghee or oil on medium to low heat until golden brown. Drain excess oil
4) Soak the jamuns in hot sugar syrup for 30 mins.
Cooking instructions for sugar syrup.
Prepare syrup by dissolving 1500g sugar in 1600ml of water (Approx 10 - 11 cups). Boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Tip Add few strands of saffron and cardamom to the sugar syrup.
